We were recently introduced to Aaron from a common acquaintance, and we knew that we had to have him on our podcast, and here’s why. Aaron Millar is the two-time winner of the British Guild of Travel Writers’ Travel Writer of the Year, as well as the host of Armchair Explorer, which was named a “Best Travel Podcast” by The Guardian and praised as “ear candy for listeners” by The Washington Post.
As a travel writer, Aaron has amassed a collection of crazy, hilarious, and occasionally deadly stories. A few examples? Well for starters he survived Thailand’s 2004 tsunami, trekked with Shugendo monks in Japan, camped while hanging from the cliffs of the Colorado Rockies and completed a 100-mile pub crawl in the UK, and more!
